I've opened my pot tonight as we are having a little break away tomorrow for a few days.

Am over the moon to declare a total of £288.20 :j

Brilliant amounts so far. Good luck everyone and thanks for all your hard work Sue and Sparky.

You know I got so excited about the whole DF thing I forgot to tell you all that

1) we had accumulated a staggering £336 in £2 coins in the tub

and 2) the winner of the 'guess how much is in mummy's tubs' was Jake with a guess of £589.67 (only £4.65 out :eek:), though we made him share the £4.32 with Lily as if we included what I had already declared she would have won with a guess of £749 (only £19.32 out :eek:) :rotfl: they are both their mothers children thats for sure :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hello all!

After much wiggling about with a knife in the terramundi I've counted up and have saved £49.56. Not bad for a late starter

The Terramundi has just about survived and will begin to be filled again from Friday. I am looking forward to seeing what I can save over a whole year!

Well done on becoming debt free jakes-mum and a great total.

Declaring £345. :T Pretty chuffed with that, was aiming for £100.

Will be banking it asap. And deciding whether to use it towards Xmas or save it in the bank for my maternity.

Thanks to Sue and Sparky for the work you put in and to all the contributors who definitely motivate me to come back, partly as i'm competitive and partly because i am nosey.

Yeah, you're not kidding on the last bit! Seriously though, coming regularly (whoops) really does motivate folk to save harder.

Terrific news, ETO, you really did so well and I'm very pleased for you. :T It's not often people go over their targets, but by eck you did it in great style!! How about half and half with the money.

Hi all,

I am thrilled to declare my total for SPC #5 to be.....drum roll.... £111 :j ta da!

My pot contained £46.52 I put the 52p into my Air Ambulance collecting tin so with the remaining £46 plus £15 already banked plus £50 banked from items sold throughout the challenge period I get the total above! Woohoo! Signature updated accordingly....cash safely in my ISA

Thanks and credit must go to Sue & sparky for keeping us all in order (hard I know!) and to everyone who keeps popping in to jolly us all along. This is a fantastic thread

Everyone has made a marvellous effort and well done jakes-mum on your new debt free status :T Hope you are all recovering from the lurgy too
