Potted £3.98 So all is well in the LC household.

DH has gone to work and I am sitting down with a cup of tea and a nice slice of fruit cake. Bliss, and before anyone asks of course I miss DH snoring in his chair :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Morning all,

Found a £20 note in my coat pocket and put it in the pot! I cannot for a moment fathom how I forgot about that since last winter. I think I'll do a clearout this weekend and see whether there is some more stuffed in somewhere.. You never know!

    Great day to everyone,

  • Hey guys :)

I went to Cornwall this weekend. I need to report 10p toilet kill (on the floor of the loo in Mr.S) and 14p in 2ps arcade kill. I was sitting watching the other half play on the machine in the arcade and 2ps were just dropping out the machine behind me every now and then.

When i got home I potted all my change which added up to £7.35 and sorted out my bank accounts (i have a separate account for holiday and i like to keep that in a multiple of £50) and potted the left over £2.45

Then, as its payday today and i haven't used most of my money from last weeks wages i dished that out to my other accounts and had £3.18 and £6.50 left to add.

Big update for you all there and i'm really making an effort to save more this month and next.

It seems like you are all doing really really well :) i cant wait for the total amount

It's never too late to join cornishchick. Please do read post #1 so that you know what we are about and the lovely Sue-uu will be along soon to allocate you and Homemadehappiness your very own SPC numbers! I hope your hubby gets better very soon :(

I am over the moon today :D The post arrived a couple of hours ago and nestled among the junk mail was a cheque for £25 won on my premium bonds :j I have had them for yonks and never won a bean until now. Sorry, Sue-uu it's not going into my sealed pot :o, we are going to use it for a nice day out at the weekend 'cos DH is not at work for once...woohooo!

Oh nearly forgot, just potted £1.15 from my purse. I was going to buy shampoo then looked in the bathroom cupboard and realised I have several bottles with just a tiny bit left so I'm determined to use all the dregs up first :A

    Happy potting everyone x

It's never too late to join us, katy_ann, Homemadehappiness and cornishchick . A warm welcome aboard and have fun saving. biggrin.gif You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 4 of page 1. Please read through the 1st post as it'll let you know exactly how the challenge works.

    * Please pop your number on your sig, it really does help.

Homemadehappiness, it's fine to put your money towards paying off your overdraft.

Good to see you back, Kirsty, and getting countdown fever?!

Patience is hard to come by when waiting for something so important, Janey, but try to look ahead calmly and enjoy all the excitement. If screaming will help then do so while holding a pillow to your face - though don't forget to take it away again!

BTW Janey, you just earned yourself a gold star with such a lovely welcome! Take care of it :staradmin

Thanks so much for the wishes, sparky, it was way back in January, but still stays special with precious memories.

Well done Muffintops, the £10 and the NSD will really bring great rewards.

I was one who lost out to Farepack when they went bust and lost £800 so that contributed to my road to debt. Took out a 0% credit card that yr to give my kids a Christmas. In theory cost me double that yr. Anyway I am waiting for a cheque from the Administrators. Won't be much but after 6 yrs of waiting can't complain. I will bank that but include it in my SP if that is ok Sue.

So sorry to hear about your misfortune in the Farepack fiasco all that time ago, mumof3plusoh, yes, that'll be fine to include the money in your total.

Good to see you again, rubytuesday, all the best in adding more before the count up.
    good morning foks

Well done, Ruth, that was a really great haul!!!!

Sorry to be so late in coming back, folks. It was our eldest Granddaughter's 18th on Monday and we all (the entire family) celebrated it in style with a meal out. The evening was terrific and we're all still on a huge high!

Have a lovely day, all, keep saving and stay safe!
