Just finished taking my holiday things out of the car and found my work jacket with a pile of change in the pocket which I've added to the work tin. And the remainder of my euro change has gone back in to the forrin coin box. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I sold an item on eBay too big to post so decided to pot the money I collected for that rather than add it to my purse and fritter it away. That was a massive £80 and now I'm almost wishing the rest of the year away to get to count everything in there.0

Fingers crossed for your DD, Susanne! I see your hubby is definitely a realist then....or maybe he just wants the room fresh?! Men!
It sounds as though young Lily has natural co-ordination, jakes-mum, our eldest DGS was on a bike within 2 days, no stabilisers or anything!! It's just an inbuilt thing that some have. Lily'll soon have her bike!ms_night_ryder wrote: »Just to update, beginning of jly was my 30th bday and i was going on holiday, i did not have enough spending money, so i opened my tin and there was £180 in there! spent it and had a lovely birthday.
Hi ms_night_ryder and VERY well done on your savings!!! :T Could you please pop the £180 on your siggy, after your No as it's handy to remember that way. I'm so pleased you had a lovely time.

Posts like that are a joy to read, themstarrynights, it's amazing how quickly people can change and how a pot can make them re-evaluate their lives. :j :T:j

Yes, Sue, it's especially exciting 'cos not only do we count our SP savings but it's my birthday tooNot that I'm counting the years any more though
Met up with DD and her family at the out of town shopping centre today so that little GD could choose her own birthday gift (she will be 8 soon). We also spent a whole HOUR in the Cla*ks shoe shop trying to buy new school shoes and what a shock (to me at least!) shoes for a 5 and 8 yr old came to £68   Luckily I had given DD £40 in vouchers over the last couple of months to help out. But what a wicked price....
Dear SiL treated me to lunch so I'm potting the £1 which I would have spent on a pot of tea in As*a had I been alone
Hope you & DH are well, Sue-uu
Happy potting all xSealed Pot Challenge #012
