Sealed Pot Challenge 5 ~ Part 2

I boycott them (here comes the rant)- in the grip of a recession, why are we replacing humans with machines and providing a worse customer experience (I'm sure the supermarkets can't be suffering that much as they've driven almost all their competition out)? And that's aside from the fact that they can't cope with you buying booze or using your own bags.
It might not be much of a revolution but it's a start...
Exactly.
I was there again last night but I asked a nice young lady (employee of course, i didn't just comandeer a random person to help  ) to operate the self service till for me and it worked lovely so that'll be my plan for now if I've only got a few items, and maybe Mr A will realise he still needs proper staff as well as his infernal machines.
And to keep on topic, just got some change from my coffee so I'll pot that when I get home. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

What surprises me, is the basket queue only has 1 or 2 people and the queue for the self service is mega! Much rather have a person to serve me.
A lovely shiny £2 for my owls head todaybut nothing for the cats head.

A great idea but it would result in a fairly long commute down to sunny (NOT) Cornwall :rotfl:
