Was on a course today. Went to the coke machine to get a can and there was 50p in the coin rejected slot, so that's gone in my tin tonight.

Thanks for all my birthday messages! I had a lovely day digging around an ancient monument...oh well, each to their own!

Potted £2.20 on Saturday from the previous week and still spending as little as possible. I've been trawling the lettings websites but they've all either 'just gone' or say 'sorry no pets'. I wish I could get across to them that we would be perfect tenants, very house proud and likely to leave the property in a better state than when we get it. It's so frustrating

Anyway rant over, have a good week all!

Red Goose did you enjoy them though :)? We used to get them when we were little, from the chippy as a treat in a big bap with gravy (the chip butty).

Must say I prefer mayonnaise (cos chips haven't got enough fat on them- nooo...) or brown sauce. Cheesy chips are also nice (and I have had cheesy chips with chilli before- so wrong, it's right).

Potted £1 for the gym and 97p change from Mr A but I'm NEVER going to use a self-checkout again  I think they're designed to make life just a bit worse for everyone.

I boycott them (here comes the rant)- in the grip of a recession, why are we replacing humans with machines and providing a worse customer experience (I'm sure the supermarkets can't be suffering that much as they've driven almost all their competition out)? And that's aside from the fact that they can't cope with you buying booze or using your own bags.

It might not be much of a revolution but it's a start...
