Managed to pot £1.20 in 20p's for the holiday shower fund. (20p a shower). Counted up tonight and we have £9.40. As there are 5 of us we now have enough for a shower each for 9 days. We go for 12 days on the first of Aug.
Proud mummy moment number 2 for this week. Been to watch my eldest DD in her summer band concert. She plays the flute. It was fantastic and we had flags to wave as we sang Rule Brittania and other traditional English, Scottish and Welsh songs. Was just like being at the Proms.;)

Morning SueGood to hear you had such a great Birthday, sparky...and got to see Frankie Valli!!!!:j I love all his songs, especially "Sherri Baby" and I bet he sang that one and "Walk like a man"!!! Is he on tour at the mo? Must be getting on a bit.
He sang all the classics and then revamped some great 60's songs and my all time favourite "December '63 (Oh what a night!), he's in his late 60's now but he can still sing and move.Sparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. OOOh how decadent  but I do love eating chips out of the paper too
What a lovely day you must have had listening to your DD playing the flute. You must be so proud of her
As for the shower fund....are you allowed to share showers? That would save a few coins!
Well, just have 50p left from my week's pocket money so....potted! But I did have a lovely evening with my friend on Wednesday and I didn't overspend.
Have a lovely day all xSealed Pot Challenge #012

For those waiting for free listing on ebay, there is one this weekend (7th & 8th July) on auction style listings
Dont forget you can do your listings today/tomorrow morning ready to make live tomorrow/sunday night for free using the schedule feature!
(for those that dont understand that, you can do your listing and where it says 'when do you want your listing to start' click schedule and pick a date a few weeks later. This will say you will be charged 6p, YOU WONT! go back into the listings when you are ready for them to start the next day and change the schedule back to 'start immediately' this will then remove the 6p chargemakes bulk listing much faster on free days

ah ty rosy and LC2, im feeling a bit better today, Dh has been off work the last 2 days with this horrid tummy bug too
really hoping hes going back to work tomorrow, and not just because he doesnt get paid if hes not there
I've had that bug too- no fun at all!
Well done with your savings- potting throughout the year must make it much less of an "ouch" at the start of term. Maybe I should do that for my car expenses (instead of just cursing and crossing my fingers when it goes for its MOT and service!)Sealed pot challenger#1677
