Frozen North :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:...Sorry Oops, I had a mental vision of people in cowskin, walking across barren wastelands :rotfl: . We're from the Tyneside area . I don't think it's been that bad, unless you're up in Northumberland ...It's been pretty mild until recently ..People were complaining about it being quite warm and their heating had been turned of early etc. :j until recently :eek:. Where you from Oops ? Tyneside, Wearside, Durham....

I'm sorry folks Moaning Minnie seems to have taken me over today. So I won't get this holiday? So what? There's people out there a lot worse off than me, at least I can afford to plan a holiday and my feet will recover. And there's people out there who don't know about this thread with all the lovely, upbeat, positive potters. So thanks for being in my life folks, you're great :j

Sorry about your holiday rosyq, hopefully you can transfer the deposit. You are not a moaning minnie, we are all entitled to feel a bit down, especially if you had been looking forward to the break and time with your OH.

Morning everyone
Thanks for all the Birthday wishes. Had a great weekend, went to a friends 60th and on Sunday went for a meal in the Trafford centre, then into Manchester to see Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons, someone I've wanted to see for a long time. Also got to spend 3 days with my lovely DW.

Potted my daily £2 and I found 25p tea room cahnge this morning

Quite pleased that I got £2.54 from the 2 wombled receipts. So thats my hint of earl grey pg tips and fizzy vimto paid for with 4p change.

rosy, there's nothing wrong with getting it off your chest. It must be so disappointing and nobody on here minds you having a little moan. I do it all the time

Nothing to pot at the moment but I'm meeting my old school friend tonight for a pub meal and a gossip so I might have some change left tomorrow.

I do too. More wombling to be done when I go get said items. Plus I got 2p floor kill yesterday too. I like it when strangers leave there receipts and money on floor as more for me! (I don't however like litter very much) My parents are most upset that they are not as good as me at finding floor money. Hopefully taking part in Big Clean soon and I will receive more goodies.
