Hi everyone, Sorry to depress you all but I've just heard on the telly that there's to be no Summer for at least the next two weeks. Hmmm......might have to leave the country.:(:(:(
I heard it was going to be unpredictable, with extremes for next 6 months, with the weather not getting 'nice' on a regular basis until at least the end of the month . I'm not complaining, the weathers been pretty good since April, something had to give for a short while
. just glad the DW got of Newcastle in one piece with the floods and thunder the other week (took them 5 hours +). Was weird weather, alright, then the skies just went black - like something from a dodgy armageddon film :rotfl:. Feel sorry for all those people whose homes, cars and livelihoods have been affected .
I think we'll have to get some better waterproofs ooplah and a canoe:rotfl::rotfl:.
No money for the pot today, but hoping for a lucky penny to be found for it.

Evening all,
Well yet another wet and windy day todayso I decided to stay at home and do the ironing. At least it made a NSD for today. I did my food shopping on Saturday as we suddenly seemed to have an empty fridge & freezer (where did all the food go?
) and have potted a few coppers change. Does anyone else find they eat more when the weather's a bit grim? If it's sunny outside I don't even think about food, just pull a few weeds and read a good book in the afternoon....:)
I also seem to have lost the ability to spot fallen coins.... or perhaps people are beginning to watch the pennies
Have a lovely evening all! x

Been to an inter county athletics meet tonight with DS. He and 2 other lads in yr 7 got picked last week out of all the schools in the whole of Cheshire to represent Cheshire against Merseyside.
He was competing in Long Jump and he won it:T:T:T:T:T:T
So proud of him and the other 2 lads:T as they also came 2nd and 3rd.
Anyway enough with the proud mother moment but also found 10p in the car park, so in the pot it goes.

Found 1p in the car park at work yesterday, plus £2 cos i'm still going to the gym :T
But I've had to cancel my walking holiday next week cos can't walk properly(long story) we're hoping they'll transfer the deposit to another booking for next year rather than lose it. I expect it would have rained all week like last year but I'm disappointed cos it also means I don't get a week with OH all to myself.
Oh well, onwards and upwards, I can still pot!

Wow! Didn't they all do well! That's fantastic...
Well, it's still a bit damp here but I ventured out as I had a birthday present to buy. I ended up buying a voucher 'cos I find men really difficult to buy for and I hate wasting money on things they don't really want. If he doesn't spend it his DW will so it def won't go to waste :rotfl::rotfl:
I found 1p so in the pot it goes along with a lovely 50p out of my purse.
Have a lovely day everyone! xSealed Pot Challenge #012
