Hi all, I've potted a few bob lately. can't remember how much, including a 5p shopkill.
I'm afraid I've used some of my savings already, out of the banked coins.
Groupon had an offer I couldn't refuse, an overnight stay with meals at an hotel with a Mystery Murder night! All for £99 for the two of us. I can't wait.
Welcome to all our new potters.
Hugs to all who need one.S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

Sorry I've been AWOL, having a bit of bother with our new neighbours. Had to go out & buy security camera's to put up on the front & rear of the house
Oh dear- that doesn't sound good! If they're tenants then the landlord is responsible for ensuring that they don't commit antisocial behaviour:

I actually managed to pot some cash in my inpecunious state! £1.60 into the pot which makes it now a nice round £70. I am running behind with my potting, but am not too unhappy about it. I put extra into my mortgage and the capital is reducing by £1,000 every month, so not all bad.
Hope you are all well and congrats to littlesweetie for your philanthropic efforts. You are a true diamond!
Wow- wish I could reduce my capital that quickly! Keep at it!Sealed pot challenger#1677

The £2 coins weren't fitting in any more
so I counted the cash in my pots (separated into "copper" in a mustard jar and "other" in a syrup tin) and have bagged up £36 to take to the bank tomorrow (still quite a lot in the syrup tin, but it wasn't baggable).
The tin will be fed a bit more today as I made it to the gym this morning for the first tiome in about a month- wooo :jSealed pot challenger#1677

I've just seen this thread after coming back to the forums and decided to join in! I've been putting spare change in a pot for a while now but i have used it for bus fare when needed.
However, now i really want to try and save up for either christmas or towards a holiday and so will not be dipping in.
Let's see how much i have by christmas then. Probably not a lot as i'm a poor student to start, but spending less overall should help!
Started off by emptying my wallet of all the change and finding 2p roadkill. Total added today = 37p
Total payment recieved from GPT etc as June: £0.000 -
