Hello everyone
...
Hope you've all had a very looooooong and lovely bank holiday :rotfl:  :rotfl:.
A few more pennies to add for the pot :j...At count up £65 in Mr. Tumble so farand some shrapnel
.
Car got through it's MOT after some vigorous persuasion  and changing of parts ...think it's time to get another, one that's easier to work on, with cheaper parts:rotfl:
. Just waiting for the dryer part now, and we shall have full laundry capabilities :T :rotfl: :T. Good times
. Wish I 'd win the lottery, at least I wouldn't have to fix stuff all the time :rotfl:. Naaaaa, scratch that - I'd probably get the 'big guilt' for throwing the money away on shiny new things .

Our fundraiser on Sunday started off badly as it poured down all day. Although the tables were moved indoors we didn't have a single reveller for the first 2 hours, only the helpers. The band arrived at 2pm then it got a bit busier. I took a measly £22.10 on my own tablebut, to cut a long story short, we made a total of £168 for Help for Heroes by the end of the evening by raffling off the leftover yummy cakes
Potted £1.10 today, 10p was roadkill found when I parked at Mum's so it was almost worth the drive round the M25 in the rain :rotfl:
Back to real life and work tomorrow

Aw thanks for your kind comments rosyq The landlady at the village pub printed out a notice, a copy of which was placed on each of the tables today, thanking all the helpers by name. I was quite touched by the lovely gesture :kisses3:Hello everyone

I think you would be quite proud of me nu1isit? The knob on my built in fridge door has been loose for ages and after OH had 'taken a look at it' kept dropping off when I opened the door so I have just glued it back onI simply couldn't wait any longer! Just wait 'til he realises it's ok. I'll deny all knowledge :A
I think you're right too about feeling guilty spending unnecessarily even if you do win the lottery. The MSE mentality is here to stay! :money:

I was wondering about the lottery thing the other day- would I enjoy the things I bought as much if I didn't have to save up for them?
(Wouldn't mind the opportunity to find out though)

Hello everyone- just about dried out from a fun but wet street party yesterday.
25p to put in the pot after a well-known fairtrade tea company named after a type of ship sent me some free bags. They sent me a coupon as well but will pot the value of that when I spend it.
