My other half hates me saying 'filthy dirty' says its either filthy or dirty. Yet I'm still allowed to say boiling hot or freezing cold!!!Why does cling film always stick to itself but never what you want it too???0

I detest Bromance as well. It's so childish - the insinuation that if two men have a close friendship, there must be something sexual in it, and if there were, that there's something wrong about it. Grow up soon!Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0

Not so much words I hate but words I have heard myself saying over the last few days when a lady on the phone couldn't understand a word I was saying, it made me think of how I talk.

f (instead of for)
kna
a (instead of I)
A lot of my words seem to get joined together without me realising, for example, I live at comes out alivet0 -
Ooh I'm easily wound up by this stuff
"so I turned around and said.." really, you physically spun around did you? - gets me every time
Also I had a colleague who would write bigger words than necessary into formal meeting minutes, instead of saying 'Bob said' we get 'Bob mooted the point that...' or 'Bob opined'0 -

Hmm, I probably annoy others when I say "me anarl" instead of me too, it's a Geordie thing picked up off my dad!0 -
