Although they still seem expensive when you consider what they are :p

Indeed. Easter Eggs are a very expensive way to buy chocolate! Check the weight of the egg and then check the cost of the equivalent chocolate in non egg form! :) Eg: Sainsburys SO Organic milk chocolate egg, don't know how much it weighs but it was selling for £5 (!) - you can buy the same milk chocolate for 99p a 100g bar. I chose that example as it was the best rated in the 'egg' test: http://www.newconsumer.com/nctv/watch/which_is_the_tasiest_organic_and_fairtrade_egg/

Cadbury ones for a pound this year were pretty good. For example, a dairy milk one had 2 standard bars of dairy milk in, which would cost 40p(ish) each, meaning you pay 20p for the egg and 40p for the bars. I think thats good value for money!

My local tesco extra is still full of half price easer eggs. They also have loads of half price space hoppers.
£2.49 is a brilliant price for them and my family love them. Ideal way to burn off all that added Easter weight! lol
