Anyone know of decent offers on luxury easter eggs? Want to get one for the girlfriend! ;)

p.s. the best I know is the 15% off Thorntons with 15% QuidCo - not sure if they can both be used in conjunction with each other though. Even if you use it, the eggs appear a bit pricey on their website.

Are the medium sized eggs still £1.00 in ASDA? As making a trip there on Saturday, might as well get the eggs out of the way too!

The medium terry's chocolate orange ones were a £1 still on Sat night

I could eat ALL of the eggs in the huge box! My local Savers has some lovely little Easter baskets ( two for £1.99 in really good colours) which would look great with small eggs in them - either mini eggs or the ones I bought this morning in Superdrug - about a dozen for £1.99. I'll put some gift ribbon on the basket handles and some silk flowers and those lovely (and still quite cheep cheep chicks) in with the eggs. The baskets already have some green 'grass' in them. I also bought - in my local Scoops (same as a Pound shop, I think) a beautiful Easter hat (for my DGD, aged 4, who doesn't like chocolate! The rest of the family just don't know where she got that from!

Everytime I or Mum goes to Tesco, Sainsburys or even Asda, we've not come across any £1 eggs.

The only time I did was at Tesco Extra first thing on Sunday morning when they had loads of Mar Bars eggs for £1. They were flying off the shelves but they had !!!!!! all Cadburys.

So damn annoying that we never find any. Alot of people are buying them by the bucketload and selling them in there own shops or down the market. The Asians and Chinese seem to flock round the shelves to grab them.

Perhps they should put a limit on the amount people can buy because it's ridiclous.

MY local Asda had signs up saying maximum of 8 of the £1 eggs per customer. But I suppose there's nothing to stop you going round a few times if you wanted more! They've had non in stock for a few days now, not sure if they'll get more in before Sunday.

And then of course, they'll be reduced anyway. Although in the case of the Medium eggs this year I can perhaps see stores not actually having any stock to reduce or the 'reduced' prices being more than the initial offer before Easter.

Be interesting to see what they do!

In Asda, individual creme eggs, mars, caramel, smarties - well all varieties that are 36p each, scan through at 6 for £1.
I just tried this at Chandlers Ford store, no POS, but scanned through fine :j
