No, that would be the charge from a landline, which then appears on its bill with no other charge from the 0844 provider

Thats the cost from a BT Landline.If you use them from landlines yes you are charged and you start paying as soon as you hear the announcement. (Their are varying charging bands on 0844 ranging from half a p ,to 5p). However it doesnt what 0844 band you call from your O2 inclusive minutes they are all included.

THANK YOU all. This makes sense. Basically the 0844 get commissions from the mobile providers since inclusive minutes are used to dial these numbers and therefore there is a cost to the end user,us.
