I've been hearing a few things about the body product swaps done by the Whole Food stores - does anybody use them and can tell me a bit more about how it works? How often they are etc? They're opening a store near me this autumn and I'm really excited if it means I can swap something I don't use for something I do! :)

I took part in one this week. I took along a much hated body butter and they swaped it for one of their product range on a like for like basis. So I got a lovely full size Jason body lotion. The staff were really lovely too. They look at the ingredients of your product and pick one of them out and tell you about it - ususally something nasty and chemically. Then they swap it for their own organic type product.

At the one during the week they were swaping baby wipes, shampoo, conditioner, body lotions, shower gels and soaps. It was well worth going for. I liked my local store on Facebook before it was opened ( only opened in Nov).

I have a GA - Label M Texture Paste - gone to a good home. It was no use on my fine hair.

That sounds awesome, thanks :) Do you have to take full-sized unused products along?

That sounds like a lovely box, SuiDreams! :j

    One UU for me:

L'Occitane Immortelle Precious Eye Balm (5ml) - at first I wasn't sure about this but I ended up really liking it. It's £29 for 15ml though so I don't think I'll re-buy it. I'd happily use it again though :D

I'm struggling because Crabtree & Evelyn have a sale on and L'Occitane have an offer on their Almond collection and I'd love to try that. I really want to have a spend free April though. (I'm really stressed about the argan oil situation and I feel like I need cheering up. At least I can recognise my triggers now! :rotfl:)

I hope everyone is having a happy Saturday :)

I love the almond oil and I'm really tempted by the offer...

Collection of Eyeshadows as I've had them for a while and i dont like the idea of all the bacteria on my face!

Avon Cashmire foundation. WNBA was too watery and I did not think it covered much at all to be honest.

    IN
BodyCare Eye pallette. It has loads of colours, in small proportions, so hopefully will get used up soon. Was only £2.19(or there-abouts)

The almond shower oil is top of my list of L'Occitane things that I'd like to try :)

    BUT

I have a zillion (very nice) shower gels that I ought to use first :o

I think that if you see a good offer on something that is HG (or close) for you then it's good to take advantage of the offer...

In my case it's more of a very nice want :rotfl:

Thanks for the review, Happy Torty :T I was curious about the Avon Cashmere foundation but now I can cross it off my list of things I'd quite like to try :rotfl:

(The worst thing is that if I had decided to try the foundation I would have bought a few more Avon things as well :rotfl:)

    Phew!

The promotion stated the product swap is like for like and could be "full or not". I had a nose in the trolley that all of the swap items were being put into and the majority of those were far from full. Also loads of basics/value products too - all were full sized.

Oh and it was one product per person but it did run for two days.

  • morning ladies,

some uu's to declare : Max Factor Masterpiece mascara - my HG mascara and have another one in the stash

Maybelline Dream Matte powder - this powder does a really great job of keeping me shine free but omg the packaging is such a complete faff! Despite the rubbish packaging I do have another one in the stash ready for use.

Elemis Pro-radiance hand cream - this was part of a TSV just before Christmas. It is quite possibly the worst hand cream I have ever used, I did not find it moisturising and seems to leave a strange film over my hands - at times I found myself washing my hands after using this as I couldn't bear the feel of it, glad to see the back of it and wnba!

    happy pampering, xo
