I agree with you re: the LE serum. Mind you I didn't find that the SBC one did that much for me either. The only serum that's ever really made a difference is the Gatinaeu Force Collage one but it's so expensive.

I smothered my hair in Batiste yesterday morning cos I really couldn't be bothered getting up early to wash my hair. Worked well but it needs a wash today. have been so tired this week. Was off work last week. Nobody covers for me and I am behind but it's so busy that I've stayed behind. Decided not to stress out about it. Hence was so tired yesterday that I didn't want to get out of my bed early. So same as you I'm now glad it's the weekend.

Did you buy the TSV in the end Scrappie. I only saw one presentation yesterday before I left for work and was very underwhelmed by it - another lipgloss? The TSVs are becoming so boring. I'd really like to know what the Summer Grace compaires to though so if you did buy it will you let me know.

Hi Dollypop. Did your plan work? I tried this tack when Philosophy released Eternal Grace to be told by JL that QVC had exclusivity on the fragrance for about 6 months.

I couldn't justify buying this TSV at all as it would have been just for the fragrance. I still have unopened Philosophy shower gels from the TSV from the Christmas before last (Eternal and Pure Grace). I don't use their lipglosses as I'm just not that big a fan of the Juicy tube type of applicator and this would have then gone to Emma who has loads of them already from our trip to the US last year. As for the 27 wishes product I just thought surely I have something that already does that. If it had not been a lipgloss in there I may have been swayed. And considering I'm still left with bits of the Laura Geller TSV that I bought with the intention of selling bits off I'm not going down that path again (just yet!!). I'm hoping I feel this way about the Leighton Denny TSV next Friday.

Yes you are right VALM, I suppose it is more of a highlighter but would it blend ok on top of foundation? I am going to buy it tomorrow and try and maximise all my Boots points vouchers as well.

I'm not overly impressed by it TBH. I bought it under pressure when I was having my eyebrows done at their brow bar and was "made up" afterwards. The best highlighter I have ever used is the No 7 one but they discontinued this years ago. It was a very fine liquid so blended easily and could be used for more coverage. Haven't looked for a long time so maybe No 7 have a new one available?

I know what you mean. I like having the travel pots of S&G but the 500ml bottle I got from one of the OOTWs went on for ever. Still by far my favourite product by them is the Sugar Crush scrub because it has a different fragrance to it - was part of the old S&G Spa range.

My UU was a sachet of Montague Jeunesse's Red Hot Earth sauna masque (I get a lot of these as presents). Easy to apply, not so easy to wash off and left a bit of a sticky residue. Skin felt ok but not the 'deep pore cleanse' they promised, and within half an hour of washing it off my face felt very dry so had to apply a thick layer of moisturiser.

It's good to treat yourself this way though especially when you have a youngster to race around after.

So I've caught up with the thread. Very quiet week for me in relation to UUs and more importantly no INs (thogh I'd like there to be!). Reading this thread though has reminded me that I have not put a treatment on my hair for ages so am sitting her with the Percy & Reed one on and have repainted my finger nails. Was very naughty last night and bit them all down. Have filed them this am and am now wearing OPI Your Villa Or Mine which is a really old colour that I own. Looks fresh though as I've been wearing a lot of vampy colours lately. It must be an old bottle as it smells like nail varnish!!

Have a good weekend every one. No great plans other than trying to get on top of the washing/ironing/house work in general. x

Lush amandopondo (hope I spelled that right) bubble bar. I used it in two halves as directed. It had quite a nice rosy smell and made lots of bubbles. WIBA? Probably not. I don't take that many baths (actually that makes me sound unhygienic, what I mean is that I prefer showers!) and there are nicer things to bathe in I think.

Gucci perfume. Gucci by Gucci. This was a present from my hubby at Christmas 2010. You know how men can sometimes be a bit dopey about presents? Well he left it a bit late for Christmas shopping and, I later discovered, just ordered a load of gear from Amazon that didn't arrive til Christmas eve! When I opened this, which I'd never smelled before, I said, "what made you choose this? Did you smell it on somebody?". He said, "no, I thought the bottle looked nice in the picture" !!!!! The smell is nice, a bit spicier than I'd normally choose. Definitely a winter perfume. Nevertheless I WNBA. It's not a patch on Dior Addict.

Benefit Her Glossiness lip gloss. Think this might have been free on a magazine. It has been UU as part of my policy of renewing lip gloss at work. I need all the fun I can get (accountant). It was nice and had a lovely peachy smell. Best thing was, unlike some other tube with a stick'n'sponge lip glosses, you didn't waste loads stuck inaccessibly to the side of the tube cos it was liquid enough to return to the base of the tube. So WBA but that day will be some time coming based on current make up levels!

Well done. Although I'm not happy that JL are selling it already as that was my get out clause - in that I wouldn't be able to smell it for 6 months and not be tempted.

I have only ever returned two beauty products to QVC in all the time I have shopped with them hence why I ended up with a stash in the first place! One was a Philosophy gift set which contained the Gingerbread man fragrance which was awful. The other item I have returned was a set of OPI lacquers because I had ordered the wrong option so I only returned them to get a replacement!

Apparently the LD kit has a colour called Sunburst in it from the Castaway collection and I didn't like any of those colours so am hoping it's awful!!

Will be treating myself to the Elemis one though. Such a long time to wait! x
