If you're looking to buy/rent a caravan, the best place to go is Tan Lan, North Wales holiday home information centre as they have information on over 100 parks and don't rip you off. I recently bought one from through Tan Lan on Lido beach and site fees were cheaper than other parks in the area. 01745 561373 is their number.0

as has been said, check out the site, take a drive around them,
I just stayed at Talacre Beach(nr Rhyl) and although good amenities the rules were ott, you had to book for a swim but no more than 2 days in advance and if you turned up later than 5 mins before they would not let you swim:eek:
parking was also a hassle as too many vans and not enough spaces:mad:
IIRC the rates per year were, apx £3500,now that is apx £70 a week BEFORE you put the kettle on,IMOJACAR

Why not buy a cheap tourer yourself and go to Greenacres Park in Mancot . Have a word with John (the owner) tell him you intend to stay long term , Save you a few bob if you intend to be touring around for other jobs too . hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0

The website for Lyons Winkup in Towyn states "Caravan Holiday Homes can stay on the park up to 20 years (from the date of manufacture)".
I've never owned a caravan but I'd imagine that if there's a place where you'll find a site that's not too fussy it will be Towyn, and there must be at least a dozen sites in that locality. The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water
And I look like a tramp and tramps like us

We own a caravan on a Haven site in Cumbria and it doesn't matter how old the caravan is as long as you pay your site fees. Though only if you buy the caravan through them.
Ours is 9 years old, and we have always rented it out which pays for. The site fees.
Selling it now though as the 2 eldest are 20 and 17.Money SPENDING Expert0 -
Winkups are not doing bring on's at the moment, not many parks do this time of year...Thats due to ploy availability...If you're looking at bringing on, early season is the best time to look...Mind you, parks always operate differently from each other.0
