Parking Collection Services on behalf of Senitor Security

Anyone heard of them, I got a ticket last December for parking in the Orchard Centre car park, Didcot without displaying a ticket, I was there 15mins and the first 2hrs are free, closest machine wasn't working and I couldn't be bothered to walk round the car park looking for a working machine as that would have taken longer than the actual business i needed to do. Anyways, I know the advice is not to pay, which I did, however on the 14th of March I got a letter from the above company demanding £110, the original ticket was for, IIRC £40. The only reason I've posted is because this company, Parking Collection Services and Senitor Security don't seem to have been mentioned before so I would like to hear if anyone has had any dealings with them?

What forum have you been reading? The advice here is never pay these fake tickets, and ignore all correspondence.
If you paid them £40, they've got you filed under "mug".
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -
It doesn't really matter. It is the old "ticket machine not working" scam. If the parking was free you owe them zilch- zero- nada.
A different company but the advice remains the same. Don't pay, don't reply, don't appeal.
I expect bondy lad will be on later and his advice will be the same, plus, put your feet up, nice cup of tea, forget the scammers.
Follow our advice, and their chances of getting anything out of you are approximately equal to you winning the Euromillions Lottery. Twice.
Yes, I take it you didn't pay the first fake ticket? Please tell us you didn't...what moron would have advised you to pay???0 -
Sorry, big typo, it should read "I know the advise is not to pay" :embarasse
And no, i haven't paid, as advised on this forum, I just hadn't seen this company come up on here so I thought I'd see if i could get some feedback.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -
Phew... you had me worried there, I thought you had paid the crooks....
Anyway, just give them the elbow from here on.0 -

What on earth are you on about? - We have around eighty threads on them in this forum and their unusually pathetic letter "chain" (only one letter actually!) is in the forum sticky.
So if you get any more, how about scanning it up, depersonalising and adding it.0 -

You may have seen it come up if you'd searched 'Senator' (not Senitor!). And PCS are well known; their letters are shown in the top thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

RE this, I've just had a letter from Debt Recovery Plus Ltd, the letter has in big writing, NOTICE OF INTENDED LITIGATION, anyone heard of them, as PCS are known on this forum for only sending one letter, this letter is quite threatening and invite you to check out cases where they have won via their website, haven't checked yet but the website is www.debtrecoveryplus.co.ukI hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0

No never heard of them...only joking!
That's why their letters are shown in pics in the second to top thread. Did you only look at the pics under PCS and stop there? Look again.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The prefix 0Q tells you that these are default (undefended) claims where the person they were after never even replied, never got the case moved to their local Court. I think that prefix shows these claims stayed at the central Northampton Court and defaulted in favour of the person filing the claim, when time to reply ran out without defence, for whatever reason.
And this is a general debt recovery firm - they don't just do PPCs dirty work! These will be ANY undefended claims filed by any industry, any builder, publican, zookeeper, you name it, across the whole country - any client of DRP. Not PPCs!PRIVATE 'PCN'?
