Does an IRS aerial set up (in flats) have a different aerial cable??

My flats had an Integrated Reception System installed a few years ago, I never used it as I've always had cable. Have cancelled cable now so need to use an aerial cable now but my old aerial cable from the tv doesn't fit into the replacement aerial socket on the wall - does this IRS require a different type of aerial cable from the tv to the wall socket? if so what is it called and where can I get one?
Or have they installed something in the socket wrong?
It's the socket with the 2 screw on satellite connections at the top and underneath there is a plug in socket for 'tv' on the left and 'radio' on the right. My old aerial cable fits into the radio socket but obviously doesn't work but it won't fit in the tv socket...

TV socket will be female and require a standard Coax male plug
Radio will be male and require a female Coax plug.0 -
Thank you for the pic! Mine are the other way around??!! so does that mean the installers put this in wrong?
(I obviously should have checked when they did it but too late now..)
Also, sounding dim here, but assuming that if the tv socket was correct and I could have the aerial plugged into that, how would I use the radio socket as well?? What plugs in where with that? (they never left any booklet/paperwork)0 -

Great, thanks, that's much more MSE than getting someone in to change it, I like the solution!0

But you have to buy ten at a cost of £7.57.
Hardly in the spirit of "money saving".
There are plenty of on-line shops where you can buy just one for about 40p plus postage.0 -

Hence "buy ONE of these" was there another store I could have linked to0 -
I got one off a family member, even better, was free! My Freeview is now working too, thanks for the advice.
No thanks though to the installers of the aerial socket... surely if it was their job it was a fairly simple installation you would think!
Can anyone tell me how I would make use of the radio socket, what, when or how is that used on these systems? (presume I get digital radio channels via Freeview anyway, haven't looked yet).0 -

Hi-fi FM tuners usually have a connection for an external aerial; many DAB radios can also use an external aerial.
This assumes that your system is cabled for radio as well as TV, it might not be.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

I have installed many IRS systems, all the quad and triplexed plates we have supplied have always been the type you need a male-male adapter.
It is very confusing for people.
I have been to 100's of service calls where people have the aerial cable in the radio socket. We mainly install in new builds to electrical specification so that is what is usually asked for.
It should be the landlord who makes sure everything is there for the tennant (info etc).
Plus many of these systems have an additional bedroom socket that will never work unless a sky box return feed it connected to the plate or a bypass link is installed. (again confuses many a tennat!)0
