I managed to come third in our little Grand National sweepstakes at work which was a surprise as I never win anything so won £4 after the initial bet of £1. Also sold a waistcoat on eBay, only 99p but might make a bit on the postage hopefully.
Its been so slow recently for moneysaving I'm trying my hardest but had to get the boiler fixed yesterday at £62 and then a vets bill for £50 makes my little £5 win seem pathetic£5 a day April 2012 £133.97 / £155£7.50 a day March 2012 £234.07 / £232.50Homebase Card - £1099.96 / [STRIKE]£1600[/STRIKE]Barclaycard £4546.60 / [STRIKE]£5556.60[/STRIKE]0 -

Happy (belated!) birthday Nat!
Just made a quick and easy £17.50I bought some curtains last week from B&Q, went in this morning for some wallpaper and found that the curtains had been reduced (lots of clearance stuff in ATM
), so I took the ones I'd bought back as I hadn't opened them and bought them again at the reduced price :money:

Nothing new to add today. Parcelled up 4 eBay things and sold an Amazon voucher for £4, but won't count the massive £14.88 until it hits my bank account.
Feeling slightly unmotivated right now. I've got nothing else in the pipeline, Fabulous Bingo has dried up, no surveys and I can't think of anything else to do at all! I'm listing a few eBay items on the iPhone app and scheduling them, but that's about it.I like to make money
Best wins: £3,000 luxury holiday, holiday in Cornwall, £250 Murad Skincare hamper, angle grinder
:j Make £10 a day challenger - it pays for trips to Florida! :j

Hi all - I feel I've not really been around much recently. Been a busy bee!
Sadly interview was a no go. Found out yesterday they went for another candidate which is rubbish as the job sounded ace, the study support would have been amazing, and it was a 20 minute drive from my house, rather than my normal 2 hour slog in each direction to where I currently work. So yesterday afternoon saw a very grumpy Askfortheshoe - and yesterday evening a slightly tearful one :-S I'm really not enjoying my job and I'm just permanently tired, which is dull
Had a few bits of money making (sort of) - had savings on shopping and a couple of items I bought, but again, not added due to counting the massive amount of (cheat) money from clothes my mum bought.
Had a rubbish couple of days with SP where I lost out on my clicks both days. Not happy. Not getting a lot from surveys - had a few on SB but all other sites seem to have dried up a little.
On a brighter note - I spent the weekend creating a birthday cake for one of OH work friends. He is a massive fan of the San Diego Chargers, so I made him a Chargers helmetI was pretty pleased with it - shame that the cost was all on me though!!!!

well a measly £5.16 from ebay after fees and postage just doesn't seem worth it. Not going to make target this month booo. Struggling abit i'm sure it will all get better soon things could be so much worse and they certainly are for others. Onwards and upwards each penny is more than I had before.Positivity is the key there is a reason why life happens. Find your rainbow and ride it.0
