Just posted three items and found I undervalued poatage, so am in deficit after fees and postage. Mad at myself. Pinecone voucher received. One thing I did right.

Found in the games machine when I opened up at the pub, a drunk customer must have forgotten to collect their winnings the night before :D

This reminded me of a time i went to use a cigarette machine in a pub ( long time before MSE days! ) i popped in the cash and no cigarettes came out, so of course pressed the return coins button, when i collected the returned cash from the bottom of the machine i was £18 up!! lol ...couldnt believe it, lots of drunken punters must of forgot to collect coins when they couldn't get cigs :rotfl:

  • £40.26 ebay profit so far after postage. Still waiting for one buyer to pay. Was anoyed to find ebay wouldn't allow any more than £4 postage to be charged for a coat I sold. Cheapest postage I could get was £4.74 and thats without the packaging accounted for  Good job it went for a decent price!!

Also found 3p roadkill today :j but washing machine set itself on fire yesterday :(. Need to find more roadkill than that to fund a new washer!!

  • In other news...
Ive had a informal warning about absence from work for phoning in sick for 2 days a couple of weeks ago
Apprently the accepted % is 3%, mine is 3.8% simply because i only work 2 days a week.
I also dont understand my lastest pay slip, so need to see someone about that has i think ive been underpaid  but our paydays have been all over the shop, something to do with the new tax year, normally pay is monthly, i got paid 2 weeks after starting and then paid again 2 weeks later (last fri ) next payday is in 4 weeks.

Have you checked your contract? Sounds like you didnt get paid for the sick days - maybe you have to work there for X amount of weeks/months before you are entitled??

Nothing to add yet today but on 997 SP!
