    Swagcode alert! :j
On the widget, 5 SBs, valid until 7.30pm

Not managed to get one for ages!
  • Have you checked your contract? Sounds like you didnt get paid for the sick days - maybe you have to work there for X amount of weeks/months before you are entitled??

Nothing to add yet today but on 997 SP!

Thanks for the idea Nicky noo na, but i haven't expected any sort of pay for the days i was sick, so haven't counted the days i was sick in my calculations. My contract is pants, lots of sections say refer to employee handbook, which we haven't been given, but i will be requesting upon my return :(

Well done on the machine kill (past and present!). Nightmare re: the washing machine PLMBL - hope nothing too scary. Makes me realise should be more cautious about not leaving the house while the washer is on. The guy who does our annual health/safety/fire etc training is an ex fireman and he goes on about the dangers of washers and driers at home year on year.

Can emphathise with stupid sickness policies moneyspider. If I have more than 5 days off sick in a 6 month period (regardless if working days or not) we get a written warning. Flaming ridiculous - was off for 7 days with a nasty chest infection (missing 3 actual days in work) and had a doctors note. Written warning on return to work despite no sickness at all for the previous 18 months! Best is they try and argue that the written warning is so they can interview us and try and offer support to see what they can do to help?!? Yep, like that works. Muppets!

Anyhow - just adding £9.85 profit from an ebay sale. Hope everyone is doing OK.
  • Oh sorry - thought you were saying you were those 2 days short. If you've got even less even discounting those two days then I have no idea - sounds like a mistake! (assuming you've checked your tax code too)

Made it to 1000 SP so $10 requested, now on to SB...

Sorry I've been a bit awol this last week or so.
I've popped in when I can but haven't been feeling too well so have been mostly snuggled up on the sofa. Glad it's been mostly nice weather so DS1 could be running around in the garden a lot of the time, as he's generally pretty happy out there even on his own once he gets digging and playing in the sand pit :) Would have felt awful if he'd have been stuck indoors too.

Usually when I'm not feeling too well and am stuck inside, lots of earning occurs because I'm on the laptop loads. But I found looking at the screen has just made my head hurt and made me feel really tired and I couldn't be falling asleep all the time with 2 kids here to keep an eye on :o

I've just done a Valued Opinions survey, and found some previous pending ones have been credited, so that's £10 for a later date, more likely the start of next month though.
Looking at the spreadsheet page where I keep track of all my vouchers and money redemptions etc, there's been something or other every few days since the start of the year, but this was the first since April 5th, so nearly 2 weeks :(

I have been skimming over the thread though, and everyone seems to be doing really well. Glad to see lots of Ebaying and carbooting going on - I have always found it funny how trying to sort out finances inspires us to sort out other aspects of our lives too - from sorting the house out (which is fab because the decluttering can overlap with the money making), to losing weight, improving relationships, or generally sparkling :D Moneyspider - that's a fab amount on Ebay, though I don't envy the packing it all up :p
I did manage to find my pinsentry to log on to online banking, so will get that in a bit once I've not got a sleeping baby splayed out over me :)
Really hope there's some payments gone in that I've forgotten about, but unlikely. First month I won't have got anywhere near target, let alone over it. But still, every little helps :)
