Not officially participating as I've failed so badly in previous months! However, this month, £15.15 cashback for Netflix, £25 for an item sold on Facebook, £8.50 saved in one bank account and £5.23 saved from my last weekly budget brings me to £53.88.
Got more things listed on Facebook but no takers yet. Going to get my Ebay on for other items with free listing this weekend : )
Oooh and £5 Amazon voucher on its way from SB. Maybe I'm not so bad at this after all!
Not aiming for a particular total (not officially really doing the challenge) - just trying to sell as much of my clobber as possible and reduce my debt.CC1 0%: [STRIKE]£6695[/STRIKE] £1432 CC2 0%: [STRIKE]£772[/STRIKE] £902L1 5.2%: [STRIKE]£9067[/STRIKE] £0

Noticed a lot of you talking about swagbucks - what do you need to do to get points ? have heard of it before and discounted it for some reason, but free money should not be turned away!!I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0

it really depends - is it worth it? How many companies you sign up with, the jobs they offer, etc.
Then there are the costs, paying for printing, travel, purchases, etc.
and the changes to tax credits? I am not sure. They have increased your earnings limit before you pay tax but reduced tax credits, so it maybe one of the other and half a dozen of the other.
with self employment, you need to make sure you keep your receipts, prints out of jobs, and keep a good record of what you pay for, ie printer, paper, travel, how much you get paid, take some out and put it in a separate account for tax, if you need to pay it. At the end of the year when you submit your self employment assessment form, it will tell you if you need to pay tax and how much.0 -
