My Netflix is finally payable so have ordered it in Amazon vouchers as they are offering £15.91 rather than the £15.15 I'd get in cash :D Also just done a PCone survey - my first survey in months! :o Will add them when they arrive...

My boy came back from his dads today after a week away and an hour later is carted off for an adventure weekend with cubs. His sister is really upset he's gone, she really cried and I felt myself welling up! He'll be back on Monday so 10 days without seeing him properly. He left at 12 and I'm a little annoyed, I paid £100 for a 2 night trip with food drink ect included. Dropped him off and realised he wouldn't get a drink or food until he gets there, 3 hours away! Lucky though, I was taking my LO on a picnic so had some food and juice bottle in the car. Hmm.

some coaches do not allow you to eat or drink on them, maybe that is why they wouldn't get anything for 3 hours?

You will have him all next week though, won't you? until he goes back to school. I know it is not the same, 10 days without seeing your child is a long time. (((((((((Nat))))))))))

It was only the scouts mini bus, but he went in a leaders car with a few others. A few others kicked up a little too, especially after they tell us no need to feed them as they'll do it. 10 days is a long time, I get him back late Monday night then he's off to his gparents on Friday night until Sunday evening. Quite annoyed about that too! It's my birthday on Monday 16 but it'll be such a busy day being the first day of term, giving blood and cubs in the evening, that we won't get to do anything. I wanted to take the kids out for a meal in the Sunday but now I can't even do that. Oh well. Can't remember the last time I had a real birthday, it's just another day of chores. Last year I didn't even know it was my birthday, completely forgot and only realised the next day when my mum rang to ask if I had a good day! #feelingSorryForMyself

Geez, that's expensive  Our Guides do an outdoor ed weekend for £35 but we have to car share them to camp, but even so! I'd be asking for a cost breakdown of that!

Sorry Nat, thought his grandparents would have seen him when he was with his Dad. :( poor you. You will have to make sure you get him for first 2 weeks of summer holiday and do something special then. Have a second birthday like the queen. :) x
