£20.21 to add from selling a book on Amazon :)

Book sold for £28 but with Amazon fees of £6 odd and the fact that they only let you charge £2.80 for postage when it actually cost me £4.41 means final total was a bit lower.

I know I should be used to it but fees and postage still make me go

  • Hi all,

Nothing for me so far I don't think. I know I had some savings on shopping but I'm not meant to do food shopping (I pay all the bills) so I don't think I'll count that at this stage.

I have redeemed another SB £5 amazon voucher but haven't received that yet. I was really lucky, they had a survey for 400 SB for people who deal with FX trades - I do!!! First survey I've finished in ages. I then got another one for 60SB - but that hasn't credited yet. Do you know how long they take?

DizzyBrunetteGirl - if you don't think you need vouchers - you can sell the codes on Fleabay. I've seen quite a few, particularly for Amazon, that sell for more than they are actually worth (makes no sense to me!!). Maybe you could try that?

I did save some money buying all my Easter eggs at discount - except the one for OH as I got him an Eggbot from M&S. I'm planning on having a look in Hotel Chocolat next week to see what their discounts are like - I LOVE their chocolate :)

Off home for the weekend to see parents - my mum is very kindly going to gift me some money for some new clothes - can I count that as I would have had to buy them anyway???!?!!??!?

Hope everyone is having a good day :)

    Hi Askfortheshoe,

Yes, I was considering that... couldn't see any selling above price on there though when I looked. What are those buyers thinking?! Lol I guess if I make more than say £3.13 I'm getting more than I would have got on a Paypal payout for the same number of SB...

Thanks, might give it a go with my first voucher :D

NO NO NO NO NO. Don't sell the vouchers on eBay.

My friend did this, they all went for more than face value. A few hours after she e-mailed them the codes the buyer told eBay their account had been "fraudulently used" and Paypal issued them a refund, AND the vouchers were used.

I'm totally up for selling them - maybe advertise to friends and family, Facebook, Twitter, etc. I sell a lot of my vouchers at work for a little less than face value.

You can sell electronic vouchers on eBay but always make sure that you say that you will post the code so that you have proof of posting - puts buyers off doing exactly what emmaglet's friend has found :)

So sad that people will rip people off this way :(

No money came in today but haven't spent any,so not too bad.
Did a few surveys.Managed to finish a few without being screened out :j
Even had one from p!necone, the first for a couple of months.

I've sold paper vouchers on e-bay ,no trouble, but I can imagine there could be trouble. Now I just keep them and either buy presents or give them as presents. (unless I treat myself:o).

Really sorry to hear about your sister in law, my condolences to you and your family. Don't feel guilty.about the discount on the flowers. You bought something and that is what matters.

I think it wad.Purpleroses who once said, people who sell on eBay, don't necessarily want to bank their PayPal money ;) and therefore happy to buy stuff on eBay like vouchers for a little over the odds as it is not their money. And some vouchers.people cannot buy in place in Scotland, so they will buy from eBay.

Worth selling as long as you make.it.clear.you will post recorded so they have to sign. Genuine ones eon't mind. I have sold. ITunes vouchers and been asked to email code. Even security software, she paid p and p, them said just email me code.

Fractured sun, hope you get it sorted soon ninoo, keep a record of all calls etc in case of.problems.
