well done DH! and yay to keeping the car for a bit longer.
great thing about being an mser, you tend to shop around a bit more now before signing up to anything0 -
I am having a great start to the month
Was dreading DD1's specs appointment today, now that she is 16 and therefore an adult in Scotland, but we got the check free anyway, as the whole of Scotland does, saving £37, then got the NHS voucher for the varifocal lenses, saving £64.20 and they gave her 25% student discount as well for being a student (she's still at school), so another £63.25 off. I wasn't expecting the student discount, so am counting the £63.25.
Shopping over the last two days has included savings of £2, £9.63 and 76p.
Then, DD3 has been frantically saving the Yeovalley codes to win a free tshirt, which I thought was as likely as a very unlikely thing, but she won one today :j and so you go through the link to the boden website, choose any tshirt you like, and get £18 taken off your order, which was more than the tshirt costand also got 15% off the rest of the order which I was putting through for DD2 and DD3 birthdays anyway. Plus free delivery and returns. Ya beauty!0 -
£18.02 from sales today, after fees and postage.0

Loving this! 90p from online surveys plus £18.24 from my 2nd job at the bar. novA (backwards!) arrives tomorrow (my 3rd job!) so another few quid due from sales, then another two shifts this week behind the bar. This thread is a great inspiration and has got me focussed. Going to have a look at the other challenges and see what else I can sign up for. Huge thanks to all you lovely people! Wow!
You're all putting me to shame ... I've still only listed 1 this month, ok I've relisted some things but that hardly counts does it? Need to pull my finger out if i'm to get anywhere near £300!!!:eek:DEBT MAR'12: CC1 £986.52 CC2 £1,286.25 CC3 £144.55 Family Loan £200 TOTAL: £2,617.32 :jTARGET: DEBT FREE 24/09/2012:j:starmod:CHALLENGES: MAKE £10 A DAY - APRIL £56.17/£300.00 NSD - APRIL 3/15:starmod:.::SPARKLE::.0 -
Right, so have been thinking and I've come to the conclusion that I'm not going to make it anywhere near target unless I really pull my finger out with selling things!
In the past a big chunk of my money for this challenge used to come from mystery shopping, but since having the new baby, I just can't pick up as many jobs as I could before as it's more difficult to find the time to do the actual jobs, or to do the reports once I get home. Plus I don't want to be spending loads of time doing jobs, and even less do I want to spend loads of time writing long winded monotonous overcomplicated reports once I get home, when I want to be playing with my toddler or taking care of the baby, and even spending time with OH just occasionally!
The last couple of months I've only been able to make target because of some luck on the Bingo. There's a couple more sites I've not done - I think I'm right that Heart is the same risk free principle as Fab etc?
So this month if I'm going to have anywhere near a chance of getting there, I'm going to make a huge effort (honestly, if I keep saying it I might believe it too!) with not just Ebay, but also trying things on Facebook local selling groups, Friday Ad, Netmums, Gumtree - wherever! I'm thinking if I focus less on Ebay, I might do better as I won't be quite so disillusioned and bored by it.
I will also make an effort to do a few more matched bets, as they were a nice little earner for me before, but I haven't got around to doing any lately.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700
