    Hi Folks,

Yes I agree with you Aesop, VicktheStick, it doesn't matter if you saved a few quid. You still have to make ends meet. You made a lovely gesture.

Well, I didn't "make" anything today, but I worked this morning 5am till 10am, then DH and kids picked me up, and we went to Warwick castle with FREE tickets!! 1 was from a newspaper my DH found, and the other was in my parents recycling (so didn't even have to pay for a paper!!) We took a picnic and only spent £3 on archery for DS. So HUUUGE savings. The tckets are worth £40, but not counting as would not have gone if not free. Great day out though and the teapots loved it as they love dragons (BOTH) and princesses (DD) and knights (BOTH).

So far I've only made £5 which is the reward on my halifax account.

But put some things on ebay and just started swagbucks so hopefully will have more soon.

Well done to everyone that's made lots of money already.

Some old codger upset me today. He was making my daughter laugh who was sat in her pushchair. He asked me what her name was and I told him. He looked at me like I was a moron and said 'Fifi? What kind of a stupid name is that, poor kid. She'll grow up to be one of those gay's with a name like that' and then walked off. Her name is Sofia but we've always called her Fifi. I've had a few people comment on her name, not in a good way, upsets me because I love her name and so does she!

£5 Halifax reward and £1.19 quidco
    £20k in 2023 = £2718 £2023 in 2023 = £196.41 Grocery challenge £250= £195.80 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**

    What a miserable old tw*t!! :D:p
It is a cute name - makes me think of the flower tots :)

Bit pathetic though of him, why bother making her laugh and chatting to you if he's just going to be like that. Most old people who make a point of interacting with children are sweet old people, who like children lol, and are just after a bit of interaction.
If you're going to be a miserable git about it, then why not just not start talking to her in the first place.

Definitely agree with what you said the other day that you might end up as 'one of those gays' the way men keep talking to you in various situations!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Honestly, men are just annoying me everywhere I turn! A few friends from school found me on Facebook, all 5 ladies I was close with back in the day have all 'turned'! I was asked if I'd join their group and to my horror, I hesitated and actually considered it before saying no thanks! Eek!

Talking of men, I had a 'p' caller today, told me about his stepdaughter he's groped. She's 12. Vile.

 What do you say in that situation?!?

Sounds like it's time to put your prices up Nat if you're going to have to listen to that sort of thing.

There are some nice men about, it's just that we probably tend to tar them all with the same brush as all the sh!thead ones out there.

Nat, you are her Mum, she loves you. That is all that matters. Ignore everyone else. My son has a rare skin condition and you should hear what I have to hear... drives me mad! I have given up now, just stare back at them or ignore them. It works wonders :)
