For 15th December @ £25 I'm in Block 212
For 22nd December @ £45 I'm in Block 116 (I hope the stage goes back a bit more)0 -

Are touts paying tax??
The serious touts out there operate like a business.
Firstly, if you looked on ebay last Friday there was a guy (LFC4good or something) who had tickets for every night. He was starting them at £200+, so he has instantly taken them away from people who genuinely want them at their proper price.
Secondly - look at the touts who operate outside the venues. They ALWAYS have a wad of tickets. They will have bought them for a low price and then sell at extorionate rates.
When Robbie was at MK Bowl last year, touts were still selling at £50 each AFTER he'd come on stage. Face value was £30!!
If someone genuinely can't attend - then fine, start at 99p and let people fight it out, or put a face value reserve on it.
Starting them off WAY above their value is just plain wrong.....
I've bought tickets on ebay twice - Bon Jovi & Green Day. The Green Day tickets we got for less than face value at the last minute - fantastic value for money.
We paid about £20 more than face for Bon Jovi because they were in the Gold Circle. We walked out after 45 mins, because the view we had from the Gold Circle was non-existent.
We also bought tickets from a tout outside MK Bowl when Eminem was there. We went on a whim (live 15 mins away) and 30 seconds before he came on stage we picked up 2 tickets for £20!! They were £30 each!!!
We also bought a Bon Jovi ticket last year so that my little girl could go in. We saw a guy approach a tout who evidently offered him next to nothing for his spare. I told my wife to quickly go speak to him. She paid £15 - worth every penny to see my 2 1/2 yr old daughter's face!!!!0 -
I know I should be pleased I have tickets (which believe me I am) but I have been charged £45 for block 211 above, outflippinrageous!!!Come on baby, in our dreams we can live on misbehaviour.
I can see the carrot at the end of the tunnel0 -
Nope nothing for the SECC left0

Ah, the joys of Ticketmaster selling tickets at the front & side of stage!!!
Assume the worst and you might get lucky.....
We bought Gold Seats (supposed the best view etc and most expensive) for Bon Jovi @ Wolverhampton a couple of years ago. When we got there, they were practically behind the stage. Couldn't see the bassist or drummer at all!!!!
Biggest waste of money ever....... and they TicketMaster refused to do anything about it afterwards.0 -
My tickets are all in block 13 at the NEC which is right at the back on the side tier. I paid full price for these and cannot believe they are possibly the worst seats. They are not even a straight on view!! We got our tickets at 9.15am on Friday.
Anyway, I must keep perspective here- I am going and that's all that matters!!0 -

Some do, some don’t I guess.SurfBowlSC wrote:Firstly, if you looked on ebay last Friday there was a guy (LFC4good or something) who had tickets for every night. He was starting them at £200+, so he has instantly taken them away from people who genuinely want them at their proper price.
Each to their own, though personally I couldn’t do that. I feel no guilt at all starting all my auctions at 99p without any reserve.SurfBowlSC wrote:I've bought tickets on ebay twice - Bon Jovi & Green Day. You see that’s what I find frustrating. You’re now grateful to have bought from a tout ! Like any business we take a risk, we win some, we lose some.0 -

Neither of those were tout purchases.
Green Day was from someone who had 2 friends drop out at the last minute - hence them not being sold until the last week - and them being happy to accept what the bidding was.
The Bon Jovi ones were a couple from Ireland - I actually went to meet them and collect the tickets in the morning while they were waiting to go in.
Those cases aren't an issue at all.
I wouldn't buy from someone on ebay who evidently uses it for money making, as they have tickets for various artists at various venues.
What made me laugh at Robbie concert was that the touts were happier to walk away with unsold tickets than to sell them for a reasonable price!!
I saw a group of 4 touts decide to jack it in.... and they still had a handful of tickets. They wouldn't even take £15 each, 10 mins after Robbie was on stage.0 -
thats because they were probably sale or return withere there supplier..... or they would keep the tixs and write off against tax if they were registered0
