If I had gone to see Busted I would have been looking anywhere than at the stage!!!0 -
thanks T&B unfortunitly the seats I have when I take my daughter are block 111 on the 10th or block 207 on the 17th I got 3 tickets for each of these nights and the two good seats are on the 18th. Going to think which 3 seats I will keep band sell the others to my SIL0

Ticketline, SeeTickets & Ticketmaster were all approved as the outlets for these tickets. Therefore no-one should have any issues regarding whether or not they should be trusted.
Stargreen also had some, and I've used them before (plus they have a shack near Oxford Circus) so they will be okay.
You're basically fine with anyone who's selling at face value....0 -
SurfBowlSC wrote:It's ridiculous that Ebay are asking promoters to let people sell on ebay.
Fair enough if they are at face value, but people are blatantly playing off the misfortune of others - and their mindless stupidity to pay stupid prices.
And why would the promoters say yes??
Money through ticket sales goes to the band - say 35% or so per ticket.
Any money being made from tickets by touts is straight into their own pocket - so Take That are not making the money.
The fact is that touting is illegal, much like selling bootleg cd's or dvds.
But, like I said, if people are dumb enough to pay £350+ for 2 hours at a concert then they evidently have money to burn!!0 -
still some tickets available for the MEN arena.0

No it's not, in my opinion.SurfBowlSC wrote:Fair enough if they are at face value, but people are blatantly playing off the misfortune of others - and their mindless stupidity to pay stupid prices.
I listed a pair of 4th Row tix the other week. They cost me £35. I listed them at 99p and sold them for £100+. At the weekend I received the following mail from the buyer:
Just to let you know that i received the tickets in the post this morning. Just wanted to say a huge thankyou for a fantastic service, great communication and and a speedy delivery. I will be sure to leave you positive feedback, you're a real credit to ebay, it's just a shame there aren't more like you!
Now what's the problem ?SurfBowlSC wrote:Money through ticket sales goes to the band - say 35% or so per ticket.

If I bought some bread, the supermarket gets the money. If I make a sandwhich with that bread and sell it then I get the money !
Take That have made what they've asked for. Promoters have made what they've asked for.SurfBowlSC wrote:The fact is that touting is illegal,
No it is not. Just against the terms and conditions of the promoters but certainly not illegal.SurfBowlSC wrote:But, like I said, if people are dumb enough to pay £350+ for 2 hours at a concert then they evidently have money to burn!!
Precisely, so why make the comment in the first place ?0 -
