Good advice there, just work your hardest and just get on with it, the worst thing to do is mope around and whinge, nobody wants to hear it and you won't get any sympathy.0 -
Bigden, How many people are starting on Monday? Do they get weekly start dates?0
-
I start in Body in White on monday, excited and nervous at the same time, had a little tour yesterday. Seems like a busy and exciting place to work, but our cycle time is nearly four Minuits so not to bad. Nice environment to work, clean, but loads of sparks and robots everywhere, dangerous but exciting.0

how long u been waiting mate? been 4 weeks tomorrow for me! ..:(
Just to let you know how it went for me. Had interview on 23rd August, email on 24th sayng was successful. Had phone call on the 10th September offering me a position and start date of 15th October. (I had told them that was not avaialable to start until 1st week in October).
Know it can't be easy but think that just have to be patient and wait I am sure they are doing their best to sort out number of applicants and they must have some sort of procedure for start date selection.
Good luck....0 -
Yeah I know im just part of the waiting game now. This is worse than waiting for the interview. What new start date did they give you then as you said you couldnt star till the first?0

I dont understand there system ...?? some people on here didnt even finish the manual assesment and are now working... and or have recieved a start date, but I completed the manual assesment with time to spare and I did the magnet test spot on and im still waiting .... maybe its cuz I dont have any manufactoring experience... I JUST DONT KNOW0 -
Its a lot of luck to get picked to be honest there are so many applicants there are thousands of others that will have the same score and will be just as suitable for the jobs i know of a lot of the new starters that have no manufacturing experience. me personally i am very grateful for the chance and have got my head down and got stuck in to the job and given it my all. dont lose hope and i know its hard but you haven't been rejected there are a lot of jobs left and people walk out every week seven from my block last week that i know of0
