  • I know i've only been waiting less than 1 week, but when I called they said we had jobs its was just a question of waiting if we had the successful email. After applying for hundreds of jobs and many interviews, this is the time to just wait. We'll get start dates soon. Also if anyone is going from Coventry I don't have transport at the moment and will happily pay towards petrol if someone is going from that way, just PM me. TY :)
  • Hello everyone.
Keep checking in here, seems quite a few faces been waiting a while like me. I had my successful email 5 weeks ago and still waiting for call to jag.

Since then I have taken another job that is permanent , steady job but 7 k less than the dough I could earn at jag.

What I would like to ask, and I don't mean to !!!! on anyone's parade ....is has anyone mentioned the possibility of being laid off at any point in the future?

If I get the call I'm ready to jack this job in, but permanent positions are scarce.

Any help would be gladly recieved .

To all those waiting hang on in there, from what I read it does go on scores, I didn't finish my manual but think I scored highly in other areas. Maybe why I'm a little behind other higher scoring applicants.

On a final note has anyone gone to other areas other than the madhouse (trim and final) and BIW ?

this has been discussed extensivly amongst new starters, the truth is, untill you get your contract with jag after 12 months, your just an agency wrker, as are most of the workforce. Jag wouldnt be pumping so much time effort and money into this had it not been in it for the long haul, the training is based upon long term goals, that being said nothing is permenant, and you have to make that choice.

some have been sent to quality, and a few to paint, but that is subject to changes.
  • Thanks for the insight punk, I'm sure its almost the only topic of conversation.

As for the contract, how come one year?

Are the 3mth rolling contracts after the 1st year with jag ?

    Hi all
I have been and done all assessments and have been successful. Was invited back to do the online assessment at PFL last Friday and was informed on Monday that I had got the job.

The drugs test is held at the interview and not the manual assessments. The testers actually come into the toilet area and wait outside the loo. There is a thermometer on the sample bottle, so they know its a fresh sample. The test is iNstant. You sign a form if its all clear.

    I wish everyone good luck

hi, when you say loo do you meen urinal or a cubical? have got my interview in a couple of weeks fingers crossed, good luck all.

He waits outside the cubical, so don't worry it isn't a hands on job lol.
