What was stressful about it can you give us an idea of a standard shift

the track never stops and its hard trying to keep up with all the cars for 8 hours straight..and if you have a problem then you're always behind on the next car and sometimes you can't catch up.

basically you're rushing from one car to the next hoping not to fall behind, it is stressful trust me.

you will see once you start, now i know why they pay £400 a week.

There are some jobs that are easy in rover there are some that are hard, what ever job you get put on stick with it for a few weeks and see how it goes I've known people quit after 2 days. The money is fantastic and it just keeps going up every year

The way I see it is its an opportunity to earn good money for an honest days graft most jobs that pay as well as Jlr won't even look at people with no skills qualifications ect so a bit of hard graft is a small price to pay for a good living and a long term one at that

    RE. being hard and stressful,

It does get easier, both physically and mentally, you need to give it time. (Although admittedly it just doesn't suit some people)

It also depends where you land, some areas and departments are a lot easier than others.

Also remember, you are the new blokes, so probably will end up on the worse jobs, but, that will change over time and there will be opportunities to move onto some of the better jobs as new labour is bought in.

  • Hi any one on here starting at the EMC Wolverhampton on March 7th?

When you start work, ask them when they will start the interviews again. Much appreciated.
  • Hi everyone

I have passed manual tests at wolverhampton and solihull.
    Wolverhampton manual 8/2/16
    Solihul manual 23/3/16

I had a phone call this morning for a interview at solihull on monday 14th march. And was told emc wolverhampton is on hold untill further notice.

Can anyone please help with the questions that will b asked.
