    U okay mate. I am wondering i had done my test in December and cleared all my stages now whenever i fone manpower to ask about the start dates they always say they haven't got no updates yet about the start date. Exactly what happened like did u ring them up for your start date or they foned you themselves please share and whats the wage rate in there i have heard a bit lower than solihul? And when you are going to start like what date? Will wait for your reply thanks :)

    I rang them mate told them how long I had been waiting and they rang me back half an hour later

    Okay mate thanks i will give them a call again but I foned them 4 5 times before but they didn't give me no start date for wolves.
    Did they tell you anything about ur hourly rate ? I have heard its lower than solihul? And when are you gna start in wolves?

    Yes mate I was offered a start date for Solihull aswel on the same day as I went for both interviews etc the hourly rate is exactly same but the overtime is lower as its capped at wolves but Union are supposed to be changing it by the end of year to same as Solihull, I start March 7th mate

    Thts great mate i had done my test for solihul as well never heard from them either. But i prefer to go to wolves as its a new plant and more to learn there and is nearby my house too. You mst have done well in the tests thts y they foned u for the both. thanks for the information and i am very happy for ur bright future:)

  • I've had the email today telling me that I have now completed all of the stages of recruitment hopefully get a start date soon
  • its hard graft at solihull, i used to be a gravedigger for the council and that was hard and i was a bin man for the council, both hard physical jobs but JLR is harder and more stressful.
