There are different pay structures for skills/shifts/service there is no difference to the pay in biw or trim and final or paint unless you have at least 2-3 years because of the pay grades ie 70% 80% 90% and so on and unless you have a certain skill set which would make you a grade 1 or you may be doing night shifts or continental there is no such thing as more pay because its harder

on another note trim and final is hard work work because they see it as the money making area basically once cars are finished they are out and sole but once you know your job and have a rhythm its fine auto manufacturing is like any industry you dont earn until those products are out the door and it will always be high pressure thsts the pay at jaguar/landrover is so good

Basically you will receive a call when jaguar or land rover are ready for an intake of people there is no way to make quicker unfortunately your now on the list of people to call when and if needed its a hard waiting game but there are large numbers at both sites and people dropping out all the time either they cant handle the job or there time keeping is bad

Hi everyone got my contract from JLR today, which came in the form of a land rover key fob USB stick!!! #epic

I'm going to be starting at wolverhampton soon so if anyone wants to ask me anything I'd be happy to help

So I am deffo on the list then? Just then have sent me the email saying I will get a start date like a lot of people on here?

Starts for Solihull will be soon guys just hold on. People will be getting calls for start dates in the coming week or so :beer:

The email says that you have passed the tests so you meet the standard they require but they cant give you a start date until jaguar or land rover tell manpower they x amount of new starters as i have said earlier my opinion is it will be around summer shut down in about 5-6 weeks time

it is all down to what JLR want and when they want it it hard to play the waiting game but there is no speeding up the process

Just wondering what you did in your manual assessment?
I had one last year but this one I've got soon is at Wolverhampton?
Can you help in any way! Like a heads up?
