Thanks for your answer. I'm really surprise to be honest. It's not nice to stay without work for 2 mc after training, but on another side this people are sure that later they will start a good job.
Do you know if there was more than your and this 50pp groups?
I hate this waiting game ;( but on another side maybe its better to wait one more month than do a training and stay without job for a while. ..0 -
Hi all, I am in a similar boat to a few of you, although I am not as far down the line.
I was wondering what the percentage of people who get kept on is? I am in a full time permanent job, but the wage is really poor, hence why Jaguar is appealing. However, I would be gutted to get a job through Manpower only to be told 12 months down the line I am to be laid off, leaving me without a job. I know they take a shedload on in one go, but does anyone have any stats for people who get a Jaguar contract when the Manpower one is finished? Thanks0 -
As long as you are good worker you should get a contract. If they recruit 1700 pp now those people shouldn't lose this job quickly. And definitely there is a rule first in last out.0

How likely is it that you'd be stuck on the day shift long term? The day rate is a big pay drop for me, I'd really need to be on the 3 shift rate.0

So do I have this right: people got the job, left their original job, attended training, and then are told there is no work for two months?!0
