I got the body socking thingy from JML - does thighs, bum, tummy and bosom. On the box. I found it just re-distributed my blubber, making me look much larger than before. Hubby had a good laugh and I have a £15 souvenir.

If you look on Tights Please they have a chart where you can work out what size spanx knickers you need based on your height and weight. It goes up pretty big (265lbs) so I imagine you'll be fine, so don't worry!

Oh and as for buying the M&S size you actually are I tried on the size above the one I am and I couldn't get it above my knees and fell over in the changing room (literally went splat on the floor), I've sworn off them ever since! Too emarrassing!
