Happy - because a cleaning company is blitzing the house in a Spring Clean!
Sulking - my weight is going up not down
That's outrageous! Have you got the scales the right way up?
Great news on the cleaning, you will feel so much better once it's finished. It makes sense to have someone doing it regularly for you too. It leaves you more time to do things you prefer.

Hi,
Can I join please? I've managed to get down from 11st 3lbs in August to 10st 1(and a quarter)lbs now and I really need to lose another stone really to be at a good weight for me (9 stone). I have no problem maintaining a weight, it's just losing it in the first place wich is tricky. I'm embarking on the Couch to 5k plan tonight though and hoping that three runs a week plus a bit of support might help me on my way. It would be nice to be a little more body confident before summer, especially with all the size 6s who work in my office.0 -
That's great news sweetilemon, well done!
I wasn't going to weigh myself until the weekend. I know what my starting weight is [don't like it much]. I thought I'd openly lurk and pick up motivation and, in your case sweetilemon, inspiration to keep going.
I was very good yesterday, a couple of pieces of freshly baked french bread did throw themselves into my mouth at one point, I must remember to keep the mouth closed more...but I feel it was a successful day from a dieting perspective.
How's the Dragon today?

Awww thank you i really appriciate your post. Dont worry about the crusty bread, probably half the reason it wasn't more than a lb i lost! Its addictive, feel better when its the wholemeal one though lol. Well i was really hungry on the way home, did think about skipping the gym and having dinner when i got in but had a subway side salad instead to tide me over and i made the gym.0 -
Hi Dragon (and everyone else for that matter!) Have had a rough few days and definitely been eating all the wrong things. However when I weighed myself at the beginning of the week, I've lost 2lbs already! Some of that might be due to me having about 8 inches of my hair cut off at the weekend though!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170

Not working today so im going swimming!

Hi all,
Chin up, Dragon...you can do it!
Well done Sweetilemon and ruby_eskimo-good start to the month!
And piglet74, don't be hard on yourself-you have already done AMAZINGLY well! I keep reading your signature and thinking, wow! Really close to target now and they always say those last 10 are hardest to shift-you'll get there soon.
Well I've weighed this morning and am already 3lbs down since the beginning of the month! I think being off work for Easter really helps. I just hope next week and a couple of planned meals out don't take me backwards...
Keep up the good work everyone!

thank you so much,
i just thought about it today and i thought, i had 78lbs off, i could not lift 78lbs in wieght now, and if i got a big bag, and put 78lbs of weight into it and tried to lift it, and then took a half pound back out, i would not even notice the difference, so i will just keep on being good, and hope that the scales are kinder to me next week0
