    Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker
So I weighed myself last week and it turns out I've put on a stone since November. So that has to go (hopefully in the next two months). Thursday and Saturday I was on the exercise bike and yesterday I went to the gym for an hour and a half. On Sunday I started Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred. Day 3 today. No gym today as it is snowing (!) really heavily. Oh how I love living in Scotland, of course it would snow in April.
I'm keeping to around 1500-1600 calories a day. I think I'll weigh in on Thursday.

Hi - the dragon. Off topic but is the cleaning costing you a lot of money? I'd love to have something like that done

well they base it on the size of the house but I was quoted £250 for the Spring clean (two people for as long as it takes!) and then they are coming every 4 weeks to do a top up clean at £55. Dr Dragon has a major dust allergy and can't clean, I am on crutches and can't clean  so this looks good! This is the company and they seem to be around the country

Well, I've sussed out the best way of booking for LA Fitness sessions. Do it online, preferably early in the morning before anyone else has a chance to!

I was recommended to go to their LA Primetime. I went to find out in more detail about it. It's a bit like disco dancing and is said to be 'gentler' for 50+ ladies. However, 50+ is a quarter of a century younger than me and presumably without replaced/revised hips! 20 mins disco dancing then 20 mins on the floor. Can't do it. If I got on the floor there's no way I'd ever get up again.

So, DH and I went round to the local sports centre where they have a 'trim track', presumably designed for joggers but also used by dog-walkers. I walked round it twice with aid of stick, that was 20 minutes exercise. I'm booked to do aqua-aerobics tomorrow morning and next Wednesday, that's as far ahead as I can book, but now I've sussed out the 'how to' I'll be on it in future.

DH cannot exercise at all. Until this back problem is sorted, he's in a lot of pain. He doesn't mind driving, because the car seat is supportive to his back, but walking - he can only walk for about 5 minutes max.
