    Hi,

Can I join please? I've managed to get down from 11st 3lbs in August to 10st 1(and a quarter)lbs now and I really need to lose another stone really to be at a good weight for me (9 stone). I have no problem maintaining a weight, it's just losing it in the first place wich is tricky. I'm embarking on the Couch to 5k plan tonight though and hoping that three runs a week plus a bit of support might help me on my way. It would be nice to be a little more body confident before summer, especially with all the size 6s who work in my office.

Well done on your loss so far! and welcome to the group

Weighed myself a little early but I have lost 2lbs since the last time i weighed (31st March). And just completed day 4 of JM's 30 day shred. Gym tomorrow I think. I'll be weighing myself on Mondays from now on though.

Thanks Dragon. Right, after eating nearly an entire box of After Eights last night (they're so tiny but calorific), it's my second Couch to 5k run today, although it's cold outside, wish I'd started this two weeks ago when it was sunny and gorgeous. Oh well.

I once had an evening job packing those things. We had to reject any mis-shapes, but then we could buy them cheap from the factory shop. Maybe the start of my weight problems?

I will try to up the exercise this week another pound next week would be great.

How's life Dragon? I haven't seen you around the boards so much this week, it could be because we hang out in different threads, but I like to check up on you anyway.

    67.9 kg today. That's + 0.1 kg on a week ago.

Yesterday morning we went to the monthly farmers' market held in the local WI Hall. There was an artisan baker there and I bought a rye loaf. We ate it all in one day! I've noticed before, if I eat a lot of bread in one day it tends to take time to work its way through. Maybe it swells up inside? Whatever, it was lovely anyway.

Happy Easter to everyone! We are off to church in a while. Nothing much else planned for the day. I've sussed out the pre-booking system on LA Fitness and have booked aqua-aerobics for Wednesday and the following Monday. I went to a 50+ stretch-and-tone last Thursday which is just about the level that I can manage. Although it's partly-seated, and the LA fitness instructors look down their noses at this kind of thing - not fast and energetic enough - in 45 minutes you do feel that every muscle has been worked.

I'm not too bad thank you Piq :p, typing is still tricky so I don't post as much as I used to :(, but I have lost 2.4 pounds this week :j (taking me back below 300 - I just hope it keeps going in the right direction! :o), hmm what else , ah yes! Had a cleaning company come in last week and do a complete spring clean (Goddess did the place NEED it :rotfl:) other than that not much happening in the world of the Dragons

Well done on the weight loss, it's the right direction, it cannot be easy to lose weight when your mobility is challenged, hat's off to you Dragon!

Having the home cleaned must have lifted your spirits a bit, it's all so lovely when it's spotless and smells of soap and polish [I'm pulling on a distant memory here :rotfl:]

It's all quiet here too, I've done very little over the holiday weekend other than chucking stuff on e*bay!

Take care Dragon, back to chat later...
