I have been researching mobile phones as my contract is up this month and have found that the Galaxy SII seems to be the ideal, especially with the deal I've found however, talking to a friend they recommended the Sony Xperia S. They say it's a newer phone and they are quite a fan, I have a Sony vivaz and I hate it! It's 'clunky' to use and the screen is not very 'touch light' if you know what I mean, I've never taken to it and can't wait to get rid sooooo why should I look at the latest from the same company?
I want to make sure I get it right this time, anyone help?
Can we please address the OP as above and not continue this stupid Iphone v Android argument on every thread started in this board. It is becoming very tiresome

My wife has the new Arc S and it really is an excellent phone. We've just spent a few days in Amsterdam and many of the photos taken using it were an improvement over using our conventional Lumix camera. It's quick too (not sure if it's quad core) with little-to-no lag doing everyday tasks.
There are some good deals out there including this deal on the mobiles.co.uk website, including 600 mins, unltd texts, 250mb data (T-Mobile don't include general web surfing, rather it's 250mb DOWNLOAD of data + your every day-to-day web surfing which is a big plus) for effectively (with 8 months redemption) £17.33, or £14.62 with £65 cashback at Quidco. It may be a 24-month contract and it's dependent on what needs the OP wants, but that's a very good deal IMO.0
