    Not sure why you'd want a different ringer since the base has its own handset unless of course the handset isn't present.

    I have 4 handsets so this means more flexibilty and the base always has a handset in place.

    Thanks Jemma, my base handset is present, I dont understand why the base ringer cant be changed either but its no problem I'll just leave it off now I know it cant be done and I'm not missing something obvious:)

    That's an increase of 20.
