Hi glowgirl, I hope its alright to bump this thread

I need to replace my old BT dect phones, and I like the look of these Panasonics.
Can anybody tell me what the ringtones are like? Do they have an old style telephone ring option? or are they all those naff polyphonic melodies?

I leave my Panasonic on the default ringtone. Set it to lowest volume too.

Not too bad and certainly miles away from annoying me. And yes the rest of them are awful to my ears. These Panasonics offer far more postives than this possible negative.

Apologies for bumping an old thread, its stupid question time;) I am getting on brilliantly with my new phone, it does everything I wanted it to do and the instructions are simple to follow except for one thing which I cant even find in the hand book, a couple of days ago I changed the ringtone on both handsets, no problem, but I cant find out how to change the ringtone on the base so when I receive a call I have two different ringtones, I've turned the base off for now until I work this out, any suggestions?:)

The ringer on the base can't be changed AFAIK. I have mine set to off anyway as I like the control to be with the handsets.

Not sure why you'd want a different ringer since the base has its own handset unless of course the handset isn't present.

I have 4 handsets so this means more flexibilty and the base always has a handset in place.
