Despite enjoying a good argument, it's time I think to take the advice of a fellow distributor amongst the many thousands of us not to get involved with such neurotic individuals. And I say that as a graduate psychologist

At least our money wasn't totally wasted helping you to graduate as a psychologist - though just diagnosing people who post here whilst spending the rest of your time selling UW to your friends and family doesn't seem the best use of this further education you got at the taxpayers expense.

As your posts regularly break the rules for T+ reps, you may not be allowed to get involved any more.

    i. All Telecom Plus Distributers must declare it when they post.............................

iv. Anyone breaking the above rules will be barred first of all from this board, and if they persist from the Chat Forums

    Hi Quentin

Personal attacks on me don't do anything for your own credibility.

As for not declaring my interest. I did in my first post.

For your info - the Investors Chronicle has just advised shareholders to buy share in Telecom plus.

More misinformation from a T+ rep.

The IC has not "just advised shareholders to buy T+"

The last time they discussed T+ was at the beginning of June. At that time the share price was £2. Today it is £1.81.

Wrong Quentin. The article is in the latest magazine. I was only informed of this last night.

We are supposed to be informed if a T+ rep is making a post in this forum.

You are supposed to declare this each time you post.

All your colleagues obey this rule.

Why do you think we all should search out your first post to find out you have a vested interest?

You have the advantage over me if you refer to the latest magazine - this I haven't seen.

Nevertheless, the IC advice to buy in June (at £2) doesn't look so clever today, when the same shares have gone down 10%.

Apology accepted Quentin. As I am not a shareholder (my wife is) of T+ it personally doesn't matter to me what the share price is. But I guess that the magazine recommends the company along with 5 others because of what the magazine believes the company has to offer both investors and consumers. I have the list of 7 reasons which I will post if it is of interest.

The bottom line for any company is whether customers and people who have a vested interest are supported in their decisions by 3rd party credibility. In the 10 years of T+ existence, despite yours and others denigration, I have in my possession numerous pieces of 3rd party credibility from organisations with no vested interest, together with customer testimonials.

You may not like T+ and all its stands for but many people do. You also do a disservice to others who may be prepared to try the company out. If it doesn't work out for them so be it. That doesn't destroy the company's credibility. It simply shows that the customer didn't benefit at that moment in time. But that doesn't mean it might not benefit them in the future.

Deliberately trying to influence people to your way of thinking just because you don't like it is just not on. People have to make their own mind up without pressure either way.

As a distributor my role is show people the information I have. If they don't want to know that's fine. If they do that's great. If they subsequently leave that's fine also.

Third party credibility helps people to make a decision that's right for them.

    Regards

Utility Warehouse Distributor & proud of it.

I have to say there seem to be a few nasty individuals posting here. You may be anti UW but you can do it with a little more good grace. But from my experience and knowledge that's par for the course with people with unbending views whether right or wrong. When an argument does not go the way that they hope, then accusations and badmouthing seems to be the order of day.

I may be proud of my chosen second business but I am also a realist. Not everything in the UW bed is rosy. It never will be - it's impossible. But from my own experience I believe the company at least tries. Your own experience (if there is any, I have no idea) is obviously different. Badmouthing people and businesses does no one any good.

The whole stock market dropped by about 50% a few years back, but most people accept that over the course of many years it still has a better return than any bank savings account. T+ shares have been down to about 95p and up to over £2. If as I suspect, nPower decide to exercise their right to buy (because they want an in to the telcomms industry), the shares will go up quite a bit before the takeover.

    Steve,
You've just got to accept that this site is about getting the lowest price for goods and services. When one is talking about a specific company, some people will have had a bad experience and nothing will convince them that they are part of a small percentage that have had that experience. There are many more people who have had bad experiences with British Gas, BT Etc, but, this thread is about T+ and those who have had that bad experience will keep letting people know about it here.
