    If an account application passes credit scoring you are offered every option;

    Royalties Gold
    Select Silver
    Select Silver (credit restricted)
    Select
    Basic

    There are situations where even after passing credit checks that a customer may wish to have a credit restricted account.

    So why would one pass scoring to then get refused by AVU? What's the logic there, is the scoring model wrong or are AVU wrong?

    does not work like that im afraid to tell you. I too had an account and a few days later when I try and use card it swallow it.

    I went in to moan and got told account was closed. so much so that they didnt even trace me on system. They told me to wait on a letter.

    I got letter from AVU saying get lost. How nice of them :rotfl:

    you should have applied to Natwest International - then they could have told you to get lost in a Jersey accent :p
