UKTigerlily, I'm going to try and go to the CAB on Thursday morning. I want to be there before 07:00 because where I live they don't take appointments you have to wait your turn. I couldn't sleep last night and I was so upset yesterday. Whilst I was off he had a temp in for 2 days and maybe he spoke to her and she can do the full time hours. He went on to say that she was very good and cleared a lot of work - and if I had been there I would have done it!!!!!!. I will try and speak to ACAS today privately if I can at work to find out if I should be asking for the grievance procedure at this stage or not. Thanks for your input. Off to work now : (.

Don't go! You don't need the stress you really don't, he sounds a bully. Stay home & chat to CAB & ACAS, wish I could go meet this boss, he doesn't sound as though he can 'manage' a thing, still yanno what they say, some climb the ladder & some walk under it!

Acas did say today that they can make a position which is part time redundant in order to replace it with a full time one! I was quite shocked at that.

There is a little bit of info on this link:

    http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Employment/Employees/WorkingHoursAndTimeOff/DG_10029491

I saw something the other day about if an employee does not agree with the working hours , what their rights are, It may have been on this site, but not sure

    hello BB

I would love to know if you are well and your little one. If so how did it go at work, did you get my PM.

I suspect you are up to your eyeballs in it at the moment but if you do get chance it would be nice to hear from you.

    lesandflynny,

I did get your PM on Friday last week. Thank you. I took all your questions to work on Monday morning but it didn't go well (it wasn't the questions) my manager was to the point and not very nice. I have a feeling this big fuss about full time hours is being used as means to drive me out completely. His attitude has changed since I have been off. I have a followup meeting next week and this one will determine where we go from here. I have such a strong feeling that this will lead to redundancy (if you followed my other thread) and that is where I am struggeling. Whilst I need my job at the same time the hours are unfair and I feel so guilty thinking about putting my little one in fulltime daycare.

Sorry if I am going in circles and I know your previous advice was about what course of action to take surrounding the harrassment while I was off.

If you have any further advice I would welcome it.

    Thanks for everything.

    X

    Hiya

Haven't read your other thread, but just wanted to ask / state:

I gather your little one is under 6 years old. You have a right to ask for flexible hours.

Also if they want to make your job FT that is fine. You and someone else can both do PT to make up the FT hours. How difficult is that.

    Obviously VERY !
