It seems like you have an ideal situation to get a caller display unit - that way you can answer the phone to anyone but him.0

I phoned that lady again and explained that I won't be back tomorrow I'm just to ill and could she pass the message on to my manager. She said she would and it turns out that I only had 3 days off sick last year. So when I do get back I will be questioning where he got this load of RUBBISH from! She also said that he didn't say anything to her yesterday about it either!

Hi Bettyboop,
You did the right thing to phone that lady this morning, however, why didn't you say to her that you had been signed off for the week? Take the week, forget about work and get well - I know you feel guilty and bullied but you really should.

....I explained that I am ill and have a letter from the Dr booking me off all week. If I am much better on Wednesday I will be it changed.

Tomorrow I would phone her again and say to her that the doctor has signed you off for the week (he obviously believes you need a week) you are still unwell and so if you are still unwell on the date your sick note expires you will go back to the doctor, otherwise you will be in day after sick note expires.
If you are still poorly when sick note expires, do please go back to the doctor and see what he says - if you are ill you're ill!! Then after that appointment you can call her and say what the situation is.
Sorry if I am not explaining myself very well ... I'm not feeling great this morning!!0 -
TORBUK, I did tell her it was for a week. Yesterday I had said that if I was fit and well would go in on Wednesday and I phoned her because this was not possible and to remind her that my note was for a week and could she let the manager know. I have to send the note in on my return which is next week but I will let you know what happens. If I am still ill I will go back to the doctor as there might be something else wrong....thanks for your concern though.

lesandflynny, thank you for your pm with the helpful advice. My back to work interview went horribly wrong. I wish I had thought to add to this thread but instead I created another one. Basically to cut a very long story short I have been asked to work full time hours or I will be made redundant and part of that procedure is to try and find me something in the company for the hours I do if not....that's it. This is incredibly hard because I look at my little one and I cant bring myself to put her in full time daycare. The follow up meeting to determine the way forward will be next week. If you have any helpful suggestions please post them on here or the other one I created. Thanks.

Please call CAB as soon as they open, how can they make you redundant if you don't go f/t ... I thought redundancy was if there was no job for you? It sounds like bullying & harassment etc etc ... keep records of everything, every phone call, letter, the lot! Maybe see a solocitor? I thinkn they do a free consultation? The last thing you need is this worry. Maybe go to your GP & say how it'sa affecting you so it goes in your records incase proof is needed. I'm sure they can't make you do full time, they could just take on someone else part time. I'm so mad for you. Get someone to go to every meeting with you & please try not to worry, we're all here to support you. Your boss will come out of this worse i'm sure he has the hump cause you've been ill, after all i'm sure he never has been. Good luck, keep posting & get onto CAB xxx0
