Hi everyone been suspended before going on holiday work will not tell why or what i have done they i am very upset about this do not know what to do they have said they will contact me any help or advice many thanks

Do you work for a large employer? They should have explained the circumstances in outline behind your suspension?

Have you absolutely no inkling as to what may have precipitated this?

no its small place i have no idea they did say we are going to look into this none i have not stolen or been late nothing like this i think iam a good team player so **** off and just before my holidays as well been they over 5 years never been in trouble before now

If you haven't already started your holidays then go in and see a manager and ask them what's going on

Dont be silly, they dont just come up to you and say #youre suspended, go home, we are going to look into 'this'

You must have some inkling as to what has happened.

You said 'Ive never been in trouble 'illl now' see what I mean.

Suspension is supposed to be a neutral act. I thought the employer would have to state a reason why. Sar-El is missed at times like this.

Presumably you are still on full pay?

yes iam still on full pay and i do not know what i have done they have just said they are looking into it if i knew what is it that what i have done i would say but i really do not know thats why i have posted on here i i have never had a warning or anythink like this ever

They have to tell you why...demand the reason.

ok my spelling sorry i have done that asked and demand a reason. they just said we are looking into this my staff have told not to talk about it but i have just do not know why

There's not much information for people to go on. We can only speculate as to the reasons for you being suspended (eg perhaps someone at work has been saying things about you to your boss, or your work is not up to standard, etc??)

thank for that ps i a, one of the bosses i run a kitchen in good hotel i will let you know when i find out more now i know this is not the norm i will have to wait and see many thanks
