    That's what he says! :) He has also offered me a full refund so as I've said everything seems kosher. I can afford to wait a couple of days and have said I will hold fire on the refund until he gets the code and will see whether that works.

    I have ordered a couple of free 02 sim cards in the meantime but will I still need to put the 02 sim in if I get the code?

    I didnt think they gave codes? I thought they did unlocking via iTunes.

    So O2 give the unlock go ahead to Apple who push the unlock when you connect to iTunes next.
