Then your 24 years in IT have been wasted, and your opinion of Norton/Symantec is about as much use as your choice of Macdonalds, you obviously prefer KFC. If your knowledge of the IT industry is so vast then why have you not sought out viruses to check the effectiveness of Anti Virus solutions which you decry? Let me guess a reformed DBA :rotfl::rotfl:

have a read of the thread. I work in the IT industry and my personal systems have always been virus free. I look after 1000s of user's around the globe via the company i work for and their preferred company costed security solution. With that, i have experienced, attempted to control and helped clear all kinds of viruses. I say attempted to control because we can't control what people do on machines. Also, as the company has many divisions, they have many different software solutions and that leads to different anti-virus products. I have seen a lot of them and how they perform.

You can try and be smart with me. I am happy with my knowledge and comfortable with my comment that Norton/Symantec products are not the end result when it comes to IT security. The proof is in the pudding as they say :P

The vid is less then 18 minutes. You may want to edit the title.
Mind you, you work in I.T. so for billing purposes 17:30 does = 24:00

good, then go troll someone else.

I can't believe we try, do something worthwhile for the public and we get so called experts still using the "mcdonalds" of anti-viruses trying to squash our good cause. please widen your experience and stop being linear. If you really think that Symantec/Norton is the best advice for you then quit IT and stop kidding the world you are a techie. Rant over :p

Your attitude in your posts comes across as atrocious, hostile, aggressive and condescending. I would rather talk to the Indian scammer than your IT dept. At least the scammer knows a bit about manners!

Feel free to flame me, you will be talking to yourself though.
