good, then go troll someone else.
I can't believe we try, do something worthwhile for the public and we get so called experts still using the "mcdonalds" of anti-viruses trying to squash our good cause. please widen your experience and stop being linear. If you really think that Symantec/Norton is the best advice for you then quit IT and stop kidding the world you are a techie. Rant over

I do not work in IT and do not claim to be an expert in IT nor do I regard myself as a techie.
For your information I am a profesional Engineer working in the high voltage/current side of the power generation field.0 -
My antivurs software (ESET Smart Security v5.0.95.0) does not flag the website as hosting any viruses.

*sigh* Thanks for a website survey from 2011. I'm sorry but i stand by my experience working in IT for 24 years. Norton/Symantec are the mcdonalds of anti-virus. They have the market, it comes free with your laptop and it bloaty, full of false/positives and as proven from this thread, always misreporting.
but i appreciate your input and your clarification of your skillset0 -
I've never liked Norton and it's never been very well-regarded. I know a lot of Anti-Viruses do false positives with (cough) keygen .exe files, but a website?!
Suppose the pros and cons of different Anti Viruses are for another thread..
Yeah agreed LouLou. Personally i would recommend Security Essentials and Avast. Both free, both non-bloatware and both working fine on all the systems i use or build
The user can be blinded by an over the top scanning system. Also, most corporate companies end up having some not so smart anti-virus because of corporate deals. Again this if from experience. The thumb of rule for me is, if they work as they should without slowing your system down, then they deserve praise.0 -
Why are you spamming your site, dont you know your not meant to spam on here?[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that[/redtitle](house of lords debate, talking about Cameron)0 -

I personally havent but i've dealt with 100s who have. BUT that's not a reflection on the anti-virus, i believe it's more to do with how i operate.0 -
